Cosmetics do not automatically make a female 'slutty', 'fake', 'skanky', 'preppy', or automatically a 'bitch'. Hasn't anyone ever heard of the natural look? The look where you just try to accentuate your best facial features instead of overdoing it?

Yes, this is aimed at all the girls who whine about makeup and how they're somehow special/unique/superior for either not knowing how to use it, 'failing' at being female, or being 'real' just because they don't use it. Cosmetics doesn't make anyone less or more 'real'. It's just another form of art, applied to the body, and subjective in nature.

I used to be all 'Ew, makeup'. Then, I actually put some effort into making myself look half-presentable to people, went to a beauty salon for advice for a natural daily look, and guess what happened? The makeup techniques I learned from there helped to bring out good facial features I didn't really know I had, and helps me look less scruffy and lifeless.

Yes, I do acknowledge some girls take their makeup application too far and make it look trashy. I'm not advocating that. I'm just saying, all you females out there- at least attempt to learn how to use it decently before you rage vehemently against it.
