Polyglots

A polyglot is a person who knows and is able to use several/multiple languages. I'm not talking about those who know a handful of easy/common phrases and all the swear words from a few languages.

I feel like the term polyglot only applies to those who are fluent enough in several/multiple languages at conversational or higher levels, and are able to read and write cohesively in these different languages.

Alas, someday, I hope to be a well-versed polyglot myself. I've got a ways to go if I want to go beyond the two languages I'm (conversationally) fluent in, but hey. It's never too late to hit the books, is it?
