Snarky

Possibly unpopular opinion incoming. If you can't handle a simple opinion, please leave now. Think before you comment, please.

Yeah, I can get snarky to those closest to me, including family members. I generally don't snark out of malice. It's my way of showing affection. I know it's kind of strange, but snarking on things to get a good laugh for all is how I keep the peace.

I also snark on things I like and/or love, including musicians, bands, artists, designers, companies, and more. If you can't make a joke or honest critique over the things you hold near and dear, I'm going to sit here and peg you as a sorry sod who has no sense of humor or objectivity.

I prank people, too, as a show of affection and to show I care. Not serious stuff, just things to get a sudden but ultimately funny rise out of others. I dunno, it's just something that I see as usually good-natured fun. It's no fun to go through life being deathly serious all the damn time. My boyfriend enjoys pranking people as well, and it's funny after you get over the initial embarrassment/frustration.



If I don't like something, I'll probably ignore its existence. If it does end up setting me off, I'll just straight up verbally abuse it/them. I call bull when I see it. Don't confuse my sardonic tendencies as genuine irritation or hatred. It's easy to tell whether I'm fucking with people for a communal laugh or two or when I'm actually pissed.
